OFFICIANT Frequently Asked Questions
-
Our rates for our officiant services typically range from $400-$900+, depending on guest count, date, timing, and location.
We also offer simple marriage license signings (with no formal ceremony or guests beyond one witness) beginning at $250+.
-
We perform weddings throughout the 5 boroughs of New York City. We also travel to Long Island, Upstate New York, and New Jersey for an additional fee.
-
Pricing includes the drafting and creation of the ceremony, performing the wedding ceremony, and the signing of the marriage license. We provide plenty of ceremony materials and consultation in order to make sure the ceremony meets the needs and vision of our couples on their special day.
-
We are typically only present for the day of the wedding, although we do arrive 30-45 minutes beforehand to go over logistics and say hello before the wedding! However, if one is scheduled up to 2 hours before the wedding, we can attend if our schedule permits at no additional cost.
If one is scheduled for another time/date beyond our window, wedding rehearsals can be booked for an additional fee, as we would be reserving a time that is typically booked with another wedding party.
-
On average, our ceremonies are typically around 15-20 minutes, which is the sweet spot, in our opinion.
For larger weddings, or ceremonies that include a few readings or unity ceremonies, it can be as long as 20 minutes. We do not recommend a ceremony over 25 minutes.
-
Yes! We offer express, “no frills” signings of the marriage license starting at $250+, depending on timing and location. You must have at least one witness present to sign (this can also be your photographer, if you like).
-
Our officiant packages are typically based primarily on location, timing and customization.
-
We are happy to setup a virtual consultation before or after booking to answer any questions you may have! We also send out a questionnaire to get to know your story a bit more—that being said, we are incredibly respectful of boundaries, and are comfortable with whatever parts of your story you’d like to share. We are also happy to share about us, as well!
Fully customized ceremonies include a final call to review all details and logistics- this call is typically 2-4 weeks before the wedding.

We offer full, partial and coordination services.
Our full wedding planning packages begin at 12+ months.
Our partial wedding planning packages typically begin at 6+ months.
Our coordination packages typically begin at 60 to 90 days out from your wedding.
-
Beginning at ~8 weeks out, coordination manages your wedding day logistics and timeline so everything runs smoothly.
The coordinator confirms vendors, finalizes the timeline, oversees setup and breakdown, handles last-minute issues, and directs event flow.
Services usually include a detailed day-of timeline, vendor confirmations, ceremony and reception setup oversight, and on-site coordination. Perfect for couples who've done most planning but want expert execution and just need a helping hand to the finish line.
-
Our classic 60-Day package includes a kickoff call, venue site visit, and final call.
Once we begin our package, we are also cc’d on all vendor communications and are available via email, within reason.
-
A planner is typically involved much earlier and helps with design, budgeting, vendor selection, and overall planning. A coordinator usually steps in closer to the wedding date to organize what has already been planned and make sure it all comes together seamlessly.
-
Yes! Good if some couples need more help before your coordination window begins. Let’s chat!
-
Yes, we typically begin vendor introductions and coordinating logistics with your team at thirty days out, depending on the venue requirements.
-
For coordination packages, one site visit is included in your package. However, we do not typically attend vendor meetings but love to be looped in on details following to align our timeline.
Full and Partial wedding packages do include vendor meetings, depending on the scope of services. Let’s discuss the specifics of your event!
-
All packages include the wedding rehearsal as long as it is scheduled with proper notice.
-
Yes, once we have had our kickoff call and I’ve reviewed your vendor materials I will provide a first draft of the timeline for you to review.
Following your feedback, I’ll work with your vendor team to align and confirm all the details.
-
As a former venue coordinator and events director, these roles are not the same as a wedding coordinator.
A venue coordinator prioritizes the venue logistics and staff for the day-of, and as your coordinator I manage the communications with you as a couple, your vendor team, make sure your family members and friends are cued for any speeches, dances, etc. I also handle the management of your personal items at the venue.
As a planner, I also take on a boutique number of events compared to venues that may have an event every day or multiple events a day.
-
A signed contract and 50% deposit is required to book. The remaining balance and any add-ons are due 30 days before the wedding.
